Stages St. Louis Sets Date for Applause! Gala

Stages St. Louis will hold its tenth annual Applause! Gala at The Ritz-Carlton in St. Louis on November 11, 2011. The event will be hosted by Fox 2’s Kevin Steincross, with over 400 guests expected to attend the black tie event.

The benefit supports the organization’s Education and Outreach Programs and the employment of St. Louis artists. In 2011 the Performing Arts Academy and its Outreach program will impact over 4,500 students and reach an additional 3,500 community members through public performances. In the mission of serving all students, the Academy will also award nearly 145 scholarships.

Stages St. Louis opened in 1987 and has since become known as the leading company for musical theatre performance and education in the Midwest.
