The season will continue with Lydia Diamond's Harriet Jacobs (October 22 - November 21). Jessica Thebus will direct this adaptation of Jacobs' Incidents in the Life of a Slave Girl. KC Rep will wind down 2010 with its 13th anniversary production of Charles Dickens' A Christmas Carol (November 19 - December 26), to be directed by Kyle Hatley.
In the new year, the theater will present Another American: Asking and Telling (January 14 - February 6), Marc Wolf's solo show about the government's "don't ask, don't tell policy" and Annie Baker's Off-Broadway hit, Circle Mirror Transformation, (February 18 - March 20), which will also be directed by Hatley.
The theater's season will be rounded out with either Cabaret or A Streetcar Named Desire (March 18 - April 10), to be directed by Rosen, and with Henrik Ibsen's Peer Gynt (April 22 - May 22), adapted and directed by David Schweizer.
