Stephanie J. Block, Ashley Brown, Eric Kunze, Kathleen Turner et al. Nominated for Kevin Kline Awards

Nominations for the Kevin Kline Awards, honoring the best in St. Louis-area theater, have been announced. The awards will be presented in a ceremony to be held on Monday, March 28 at the Loretto-Hilton Theater.

The Broadway-bound play High, which was presented by Repertory Theatre of St. Louis, received eight nominations, including for Outstanding Production of a Play, stars Kathleen Turner and Evan Jonigkeit, Rob Ruggiero’s direction, Jess Goldstein’s costumes, John Lasiter’s lighting, David Gallo’s set, and for Outstanding Ensemble. All the individual nominees will also be part of the Broadway production.

Among the other acting nominees were Stephanie J. Block (Cats), Ashley Brown (Sound of Music), Leah Horowitz (Show Boat), Eric Kunze (Damn Yankees), and Lara Teeter (Beauty and the Beast).
