Emmy Award-winning comedian and actress Wanda Sykes has been called "one of the funniest stand up comics" by her peers and ranks among Entertainment Weekly's 25 Funniest People in America. Her smart-witted stand-up has sent her career in many different areas. In addition to her two HBO stand-up specials--Wanda Sykes: Sick & Tired and I'ma Be Me--Sykes is well-known for her appearances on The New Adventures of Old Christine, Curb Your Enthusiasm, as well as The Chris Rock Show, on which she spent five years.
