All-Beethoven Program: Consecration of the House; Symphony No. 8; and Symphony No. 3.
Hot on the heels of winning the 2007 German Record Critics' Prize for their acclaimed recording of Beethoven's Symphonies No. 3 and 8, the Deutsche Kammerphilharmonie Bremen will grace the State Theatre en route to New York's Alice Tully Hall. Grammy® Award-winning conductor and artistic director Paavo Järvi (son of New Jersey Symphony Orchestra's music director, Neeme Järvi) has built a remarkable conducting and recording reputation. Last season, in addition to his permanent position, Järvi was a guest conductor for the Vienna Philharmonic, Philadelphia Orchestra, Cleveland and Philharmonia Orchestras, Chicago Symphony Orchestra, and Orchestre National de Paris.
