Since capturing first prize in the 1996 Narbonne (France) International Brass Quintet Competition, this brilliant quintet has enthralled audiences worldwide. Their versatile and creative programming breaks the boundaries between pop, classical, Latin, and traditional music. Beside the evocative music of Spain, highlights of their repertoire include Duke Ellington, Fats Waller, and Antonio Carlos Jobimbut they are equally at home in Renaissance and Baroque masterpieces and traditional American spirituals.
