Same Time, Next Year follows George and Doris as they rendezvous once a year in the same hotel room for a love affair spanning 25 years - from the postwar 50s to the mid 70s. Over two decades of manners, morals and attitudes are mirrored by the lovers - they change over the years, not always in the same way or at the same speed, but always with hilarious and ultimately touching results.
