Country music artist Kellie Pickler initially gained fame as a contestant on the fifth season of American Idol. She is one of the few Idol alums to prove herself as an artist in her own right. Her debut release, Small Town Girl (2006) went Gold, eventually sold over 800,000 copies and produced three hit singles: "Red High Heels," "I Wonder," and "Things That Never Cross a Man's Mind." Her second release, the self-titled Kellie Pickler (2008) produced the hit singles "Don't You Know You're Beautiful," "Didn't Know How Much I Loved You," "Best Days of Your Life," and "Makin' Me Fall in Love Again." The song "Tough" from her newest release 100 Proof (2012) is already a Top 40 hit on the charts. Kellie is the winner of three ASCAP songwriting awards, three CMT Music Awards, five more CMT nominations, two American Country Awards nominations, two Academy of Country Music Awards nominations and two Country Music Association award nominations.
