WHAT IS IT ABOUT?
Newark native Joe Rogan is a stand-up comedian, television host, actor, writer, color commentator, and American martial artist. He is best known for playing Joe Garrelli on the NBC sitcom NewsRadio during the '90s. After the show, Rogan moved away from acting, serving as the host of the NBC reality show Fear Factor from 2001 to 2006, returning when the show rebooted in 2011. In 2003, Rogan and fellow comedian Doug Stanhope began hosting the Comedy Central hit The Man Show, replacing Jimmy Kimmel and Adam Carolla. Rogan also hosts one of Apple iTunes top 10 most downloaded comedy podcasts, titled The Joe Rogan Experience. The series was named one of iTunes "Best of 2010" audio podcasts in its first year.
