WHAT IS IT ABOUT?
A remarkable tour-de-force one-man show based on the real life story of an East German transvestite who survived both the Nazi and Communist regimes, I Am My Own Wife enjoyed a successful Off-Broadway and subsequent Broadway run 2004. That year it was the Tony Award winner for best play and recipient of the Pulitzer prize for drama. Mark Nelson stars.
