For the seven young men in the Hypnotic Brass Ensemble, 'brotherhood' is literal: they're all sons of jazz legend Phil Cohran. Originally, Vanilla Fudge was a blue-eyed soul cover band called The Pigeons, formed in New Jersey in 1965 with organist, Mark Stein, bassist, Tim Bogert and drummer, Joey Brennan, and guitarist, vocalist and US Navy veteran, Vince Martell.

The GMO's resurgence began in 1956 following the release of the blockbuster hit film "The Glenn Miller Story" starring Jimmy Stewart and June Allison. The band consists of the classic Big Band complement: music director, male/female vocalists, 4 trumpets, 4 trombones, 5 saxes, piano, bass and drums. They play to more than a half a million people a year! Just as it was in Glenn's day, The Glenn Miller Orchestra is still the most famous Big Band in the world.
