This quick-paced, poignant and entertaining piece of musical comedy is filled with the character of a bygone era.  The world was at war and popular music meant Boogie-Boogie Bugle-Boy, That Old Black Magic, Blue Moon, and I'll be seeing you.  1940's Radio Hour invites you to meet the cast of the Mutual Manhattan Variety Cavalcade on December 21, 1942 , as the harassed producer copes with a drunken lead singer, the delivery boy who wants a chance in front of the microphone, the second banana who dreams of singing a ballad, and the general chaos of behind the scenes radio.
