New Jersey’s Two River Theater offers a rendition of the touching Paul Osborn play through October 13.

Paul Osborn's poignant play On Borrowed Time, which premiered on Broadway in 1938, is now in performance at Two River Theater in Red Bank, New Jersey.

Directed by Tony Award-winning performer Joel Grey (Cabaret, Anything Goes, The Normal Heart), the show presents a magical fantasy about the love between a little boy, Pud (Oakes Fegley), and his grandfather, Gramps (Robert Hogan). When Death pays them a visit, Gramps is able to outwit Death by trapping him up in a tree.

The cast also includes Tom Nelis, Alex Garfin, Brian Gildea, Brian Michael Hoffman, Betsy Hogg, Patrick Husted, Diane Kagan, Angela Reed, Steven Skybell, Lorenzo Villanueva, and John Thomas Waite.
