Marlo Thomas to Star in Joe DiPietro’s Clever Little Lies at George Street Playhouse

Stage and screen veteran Marlo Thomas will star in George Street Playhouse‘s production of Joe DiPietro’s Clever Little Lies. David Saint directs the work, which runs through November 27-December 23, with an opening set for November 30.

Thomas, whose credits include Relatively Speaking, Social Security, Nobody’s Child, and That Girl, will play a mother whose persistent snooping into her son’s life leads to the discovery of an unexpected family secret. Additional casting for the production will be announced.

DiPietro’s credits include the books for the musicals Nice Work if You Can Get It, Memphis, All Shook Up, The Toxic Avenger, and I Love You, You’re Perfect, No Change. His plays include Over the River, Creating Claire, and The Last Romance.
