Synopsis

The Young Americans' Theatre Company is thrilled to announce its first production! YATC will be mounting Women and Wallace by Jonathan Mark Sherman, directed by Tommy Fleming. It is the darkly funny story of a boy's journey to adulthood, as he copes with his mother's suicide and her impact on his relationship with women. The show stars Sam Tilles as Wallace, with supporting performances from Zoey Belyea, Annie Loggins, Jocelyn Maher, Rebecca Mostow, Chelsea Taylor, Sydney Tucker, Sarah Youssefi, and Olivia Zech. This show contains mature subject matter, and it recommended for ages 14 and up.

The Young Americans' Theatre Company was founded in March 2008, to provide opportunities for young artists to be involved with theatre outside the influence of traditional educational environments. Its goal is to create theatre that will speak to, inspire, and authentically provoke discussion within the young community. It was created by seven young adult actors, each of which has extensive experience in theatre, both as students and professional performers. The company is not affiliated with Washington Ensemble Theatre, so please do not contact WET concerning YATC.
