WHAT IS IT ABOUT?
Independent producer DramaQueen presents its premiere production: The Stops, a fundamentally fabulous musical comedy by Eric Lane Barnes and Drew Emery. The show follows three ladies of NALOG -- the North American Lady Organists Guild -- as they spread the gospel on tour as The Stops, a trio of women of different faiths united in their love of song but divided in their views on homosexuality. Featuring Barnes' irreverent take on contemporary Christian music -- everything from Sunday school ditties to church "camp" songs -- The Stops takes the stale battle of Christian fundamentalism versus gays and lesbians and turns it on its head, all the while serving up heaping portions of wicked fun and honest-to-God joy.
There are additional 3pm matinees on Sundays Aug. 22 & 29.
