Synopsis
The Slipper and the Rose is a charming new musical version of the story of Cinderella making its West Coast premiere at the Tacoma Musical Playhouse!
Based on the 1976 film of the same name, The Slipper and the Rose brings to the stage a faithfully preserved version of one of the best-loved and most-often-told fairy tales of all time. The Academy and Golden Globe Award nominated score by Richard and Robert Sherman (Mary Poppins, Chitty-Chitty Bang-Bang, Bedknobs & Broomsticks) swells to the height of romanticism in this exciting new British addition to the American musical theater repertoire.
