ReAct Theatre presents the world premiere of Amy Tan's The Joy Luck Club, adapted and directed by David Hsieh. Spanning nearly seventy-five years, from war-torn China to modern America, the play is the epic and mesmerizing tale of three generations of Chinese
women. For decades, the members of the Joy Luck Club have met to play mah jong, eat Chinese delicacies and brag about their children. Now one of these women has died, and it up to her daughter to take her place, and learn her mother's secret story and those of the other women.
