WHAT IS IT ABOUT?
"Hip-hop renaissance man" Marc Bamuthi Joseph fuses spoken word, dance, music, and video to tell the story of one man's struggle to find his place. With stops in Haiti, Tokyo, and Paris, Joseph explores the conflict between public identity and private self in our globalized, multi-everything era. In the process, he confronts questions about love, race, family, and art.
