Jerry Dixon will direct Village Theater's revival of Show Boat.

Based on the novel of the same name by Edna Ferber, this classic musical features music by Jerome Kern, with book and lyrics by Oscar Hammerstein II. It spans five decades in the lives of Cap'n Andy Hawks and his troupe of entertainers, a vivid chronicle of changing lives in changing times, and is one of the groundbreaking musicals of the last century.
