Synopsis

When it comes to pick-ups, break-ups, and hangovers, Charlane Tucker is a pro. The aspiring country singer has been hitting dive bars across the U.S. trying to polish her act and find 100 men who will love and leave her--all with the sole purpose of accumulating enough "country cred" to be taken seriously in Nashville. The plan goes off without a hitch…until #43.

Inspired by a year in which writer Joanna Horowitz suffered through 30 unsuccessful first dates and considered chucking it all and moving to Nashville, 100 Heartbreaks is both a send-up and a love song to country music, and to love itself.
