Compagnie Marie Chouinard to Make Seattle Debut with Orpheus and Eurydice

The piece is a retelling of the famous myth, with a group of 12 dancers examining the pivotal moments and emotions of anguish, bereavement, lust and longing. The work features original music by Louis Dufort and text sourced from Italian philosopher Giorgio Agamben complete the mise-en-scène.
Following the Seattle engagement, the work is expected to tour to China, Germany, Austria, Japan, and Canada.
