The Central Heating Lab at A Contemporary Theatre (ACT) is set to host the Third Annual Icicle Creek Theatre Festival (ICTF), July 17-18, which will present staged readings of two works.
Daisy Foote's HIM will play at ACT on Friday July 17 at 7:30 pm. Her play centers on three siblings who struggle to keep the family business afloat in a rapidly changing world that threatens to leave them behind. Rosemary Zibart The Jewel in the Manuscript will be presented on Saturday July 18 at 7:30 pm. Kurt Beattie will direct ICTF artistic director and founder Allen Fitzpatrick as author Fyodor Dostoevsky during one of his darkest times when a young stenographer, Anna, seems like the remedy for all his ills.
The cast for the readings will feature Eric Ray Anderson, Ian Bell, Renata Friedman, Marianne Owen, and Brandon Petty.
