Theater Schmeater will continue a summer tradition of free family-friendly park productions with The Sorcerer's Apprentice, adapted by Mary Hall Surface, to perform in Volunteer Park, July 11-August 9.
The Sorcerer's Apprentice tells the cautionary story of a lazy young acolyte who has enough knowledge to initiate mystical forces without the ability to stop them. The show will star Aaron Allshouse as the Sorcerer and Matt Hornbeck as Klaus, the apprentice. Monica Wulzen will play The Cat, and Morgan Patton, Jesse Ross, and Lucy Shelby are the Magics.
