The full cast and creative team have been announced for ACT's world premiere of Fathers and Sons by Michael Bradford, April 25-May 25. Part of the Hansberry Project, this production will be directed by Valerie Curtis-Newton with a May 1 opening.

The play explores what it means to be a father, a son, a husband, and a man. Marcus, his father Leon, and grandfather Bernard confront a history of absence, mistakes, mistrust, and broken promises as they strive to redefine themselves as fathers and sons.

The cast will include William Hall Jr. as Leon, Reginald André Jackson as Marcus, Tracey A. Leigh as Yvette, and Wilbur Penn as Bernard. The creative team will include Matt Smucker (set design), Melanie Taylor-Burgess (costume design), LB Morse (lighting design), and Eric Chappelle (sound design).
