The musicals Next to Normal and Vanities will both come to the stage in Seattle in 2011, according to a report in The Seattle Times.

The national tour of Next to Normal will play at the 5th Avenue Theatre, running February 22 - March 13. The musical, with book and lyrics by Brian Yorkey and music by Tom Kitt, was developed in Seattle, where it had its first reading at the Village Theatre.

Vanities, which will play at ACT Theatre, running February 4 - April 3. The musical, which features a book by Jack Hefner, adapted from his hit play of the same name, and a score by David Kirshenbaum, was performed at the theater in a workshop in 2006.
