WHAT IS IT ABOUT?
Studio East presents Willy Wonka, featuring lyrics and music by Leslie Bricusse and Anthony Newley. The show isdapted for the stage by Tim McDonald and Leslie Bricusse, and directed by Lani Brockman, with musical direction by Susan Bardsley and choreography by Faith Russell.
Roald Dahl's timeless story of the world famous candy man and his quest to find an heir comes to life in this scrumdidilyumptious stage musical guaranteed to delight everyone's sweet tooth. Join Charlie, the golden ticket winners, the Oompa Loompas and, of course, Willy Wonka in the sweetest adventure ever with songs from the classic family film including "Pure Imagination" and "The Candyman."
