A Shepard classic, True West centers on two brothers, who at the beginning of the play are as different as night and day. Austin is successfully middle class, while Lee specializes in petty burglary. Meeting up after a long absence, the brothers find that each is disillusioned with his own life, and what they both really want is to be each other.
