Based on the classical composition of the same name by Johann Sebastian Bach, The Goldberg Variations is a series of thirty variations ranging in length from 1 to 10 minutes. Haim created unique pieces for each variation that together can be presented in any order. Previously performed exclusively as a solo, Haim now sets his original choreography on a group of Seattle's strongest dancers including Ellie Sandstrom, Tonya Lockyer, Sean Ryan, Amy O'Neal and Jim Kent. The limited three-night run will include a flexible format, each night featuring a slightly different cast, as well as live accompaniment by award winning pianist André Gribou.
