A returning Pied Piper gem that has been delighting students throughout the United States for 15 years, this Brothers Grimm story explores the underlying themes of kindness and giving. When two merry elves arrive at a small village in the Black Forest, they discover a poor gentle shoemaker who clearly needs assistance. The elves show their benevolence and resourcefulness, and save the shoemaker from a bleak and unhappy holiday.
