WHAT IS IT ABOUT?
A finalist for the 2005 Pulitzer Prize by one of the most original new voices in American theatre, The Clean House is a quirky and unexpectedly moving comedy about love, loss and the power of a good joke as four very different women confront the messy, beautiful ambiguities of life. Playwright Sarah Ruhl was recently named a 2006 MacArthur Fellow, described by the foundation as "a fresh, compelling and versatile playwright."
