WHAT IS IT ABOUT?
Seattle Repertory Theatre hosts a new work by noted theater and
film artist Ping Chong: Secret Histories: Seattle Youth. This collaborative theater piece spearheaded by Chong is based on the
lives of Seattle young people from different cultural and ethnic
backgrounds, who portray themselves onstage.
Chong has created similar works in other cities, and describes the
"Secret Histories" project as "a kind of microcosm for the American tapestry of peoples."
