The Bainbridge Symphony Orchestra celebrates the hemispheres in its' 2010-2011 season opener Northern Lights meet Southern Spirit. Works by Scandinavian composers Edvard Grieg and Jean Sibelius will be featured including a performance of Grieg's Piano Concerto in A minor with pianist Dan Sabo. In honor of the bicentennial of Mexico's independence and centennial of the Revolution the BSO will perform Arturo Márquez's Danzón No. 2. Concluding the program is Nikolai Rimsky-Korsakov's brilliant Capriccio espagnol. Music Director candidate Wesley Schulz conducts.
