WHAT IS IT ABOUT?
The women of Greece, led by the seductively persuasive Athenian, Lysistrata, stage a sex strike which leads to battles of wits, water, and "willypower" in which the male members of Greek society are given a very hard time! This bawdy romp includes everything from slapstick to striptease. Lysistrata: A Woman's Translation is Drue Robinson Hagan's adaptation of Aristophanes' classic sex comedy.
