WHAT IS IT ABOUT?
It's 1950 and television's funniest variety show is falling apart at the hands of network execs, ratings and budget cuts. At the center of it all is Max Prince, a comedian struggling to keep his madcap group of writers afloat in this uproarious salute to the Golden Age of comedy. If you remember Sid Caesar's Your Show of Shows or Caesar's Hour then this show is for you. Neil Simon captures his early days as a writer for Sid Caesar in a heartwarming laugh-fest.
