An absurdly theatrical performance collage of original writing, found text, and video created by solo-artist and WET co-founder Marya Sea Kaminski, who was recently picked for the "Best Work Onstage and Backstage" category in Seattle Weekly's Best of Seattle 2006 issue. Of her work, critic Richard Morin writes: "[Marya's] accomplishments would be impressive in any career, but in one as young as Kaminski's they're jaw-dropping. It's only a matter of time before she's given a key to the city." (Seattle Weekly, August 2, 2006) In DisDress explores a modern-day damsel's attempt to find sense under the rubble of her love life and the folds of her hoopskirt. All dressed up and basking in the glow of primetime TV, really, what's a girl to do?
