On the Boards presents the U.S. premiere of Christian Rizzo's evening-length work autant vouloir le bleu du ciel et m'en aller sur un ane ("I might as well want the blue of the sky and ride away on a donkey"). This solo performance combines fascinating dance vision, a background in fashion and rock music, and a penchant for the visual arts -- creating a visual and aural feast for the senses. Part performance art, part dance theater work, its features a soundscape mixed live in the house by French musician Gerome Nox.
