Seattle Rep to Honor Bill Irwin at Annual Gala

Bill Irwin will be honored with a Lifetime Achievement in the Theatre Award at Seattle Repertory Theat’res annual gala, Le Cirque Repartee, to be held at the Grand Hyatt in Seattle, on October 4 beginning at 6:30 pm.


The event, which will benefit Seattle Rep’s artistic and educational programming, will feature theatre-themed auction packages, cocktails, a multi-course meal, and dancing. Arts supporter Matthew N. Clapp Jr. will also be honored with a Lifetime Dedication to the Theatre award.


Irwin will star in Seattle Rep’s Broadway-bound production of Samuel Beckett’s Waiting for Godot, January 15-February 14. He won the Tony for Who’s Afraid of Virginia Woolf? and also starred on Broadway in such shows as The Goat and Fool Moon.
