Seattle Repertory Theatre will present Carrie Fisher’s solo show, Wishful Drinking, as part of its 2008-2009 season. Directed by Tony Taccone, the show will run April 2 through May 3, 2009. It replaces the previously announced A Winter People.

Wishful Drinking is Fisher’s personal tell-all, from playing Princess Leia in Star Wars, to growing up with famous parents (Eddie Fisher and Debbie Reynolds), to marrying and divorcing Paul Simon and beyond.

The show is currently playing Hartford Stage, August 6-17, and will also be performed as part of Arena Stage’s season, September 5-28.
