Our American Theater will open its fourth season with two readings of Arthur Miller’s After the Fall, October 13 at Theatre Off Jackson and October 14 at Seattle Public Theater. Susanna Burney will direct the readings.

Written in 1964, After the Fall looks at post World War II angst and the House Un-American Committee through the story of Quentin, a man suffering from two failed marriages and the fallout of the Senate hearings that have severed ties with his closest friends.

Other readings this season will include Suddenly Last Summer by Tennessee Williams, February 16, 2009 and Don’t Drink the Water by Woody Allen, April 20, 2009.

All readings start at 7 pm and the tickets are pay-what-you-can.
