Featuring music by Keith Gordon and a libretto by Martin Casella, which was adapted from a novel by Steve Lyons, the musical -- set in Saint Heaven, Kentucky in 1957 -- tells the story of a young doctor who returns home to settle his father's affairs and confront the past.
The cast will feature Mark Carr (Garrison Martin), Cynthia Jones (Millie Walden), Kingsley Leggs (Pastor Joe Bertram), Tanesha Ross (Eshie Willington), Allan Snyder (Thomas Rivers), and Billie Wildrick (Maggie Hartford). The ensemble will include Julia Black, Antonia Darlene, Tena B. DuBerry, Ekello Harrid, Isaiah D. Parker, Leonard Piggee, Faith Russell, Alanna Saunders, Claire Saunders, Ty Willis, Thaddeus Wilson, and Judy A. Young.
