ACT Announces Casting for Three Productions

A Contemporary Theatre (ACT) has announced casting for the remaining three productions in its 2008 season.

Intimate Exchanges by Alan Ayckbourn, August 15-September 14, is a hilarious farce in which two actors each play multiple characters. With Kurt Beattie at the helm, this production will star Marianne Owen as Celia and Irene, and R. Hamilton Wright as Toby and Miles. Sarah Ruhl’s Eurydice, September 5-October 5, will follow Eurydice after she is carried off to the Underworld on the day of her wedding. Allison Narver will direct the production which will star Renata Friedman in the title role, Trick Danneker as Orpheus, Mark Chamberlin as her father, and feature Paul Morgan Stetler as the Nasty Interesting Man/Child, Anne Allgood as Loud Stone, Tim Hyland as Big Stone, and Tracy Repep as Little Stone.

Finally the world-premiere of Becky’s New Car, October 17-November 16, by Steven Dietz will feature Anna-Lisa Carlson as Kenni Flood, Benjamin Harris as Chris Foster, Kimberly King as Becky Foster, Charles Leggett as Joe Foster, Suzanne Bouchard as Ginger, Michael Winters as Walter Flood, and R. Hamilton Wright as Steve.
