Capital Playhouse has announced its 2008-2009 Season in a Box, which will open on a dark note with Bertolt Brecht & Kurt Weil's The Threepenny Opera, October 9-November 1.

For the holidays, Capital Playhouse will reprise the highly requested Scrooge, with Jeff Kingsbury reprising the role of Scrooge, November 28-December 21. The new year will begin with a revue of the works of Rodgers and Hammerstein, A Grand Night for Singing, January 29-February 21.

The fourth show of the season will be Andrew Lloyd Webber's Jesus Christ Superstar, March 19-April 11, and the season will close with Stephen Sondheim's A Little Night Music, May 7-30.
