ArtsWest Announces 2009-2010 Season

ArtsWest has announced selections for its 2009-2010 season, which will include four Seattle premieres.

The season will kick off with Sarah Ruhl’s Dead Man’s Cell Phone (September 9-October 3), to be directed by Carol Roscoe. Next up will be David Grimm’s Measure for Pleasure (October 21-November 14), to be directed by Christopher Zinovitch.

John Bartley, Aaron Finley, Ryan McCabe, and Daniel Stoltenberg will once again star in Stuart Ross’ Plaid Tidings: The Forever Plaid Christmas Show (December 2-27), to be directed by Jeff Church and Jeannette LeGault, with musical direction by R.J. Tancioco. The new year will begin with John Kolvenbach’s Love Song (January 27-February 21), to be directed by Kate Witt.

Sharr White’s Sunlight will get its world premiere, March 10-April 3, directed by Vanessa Miller. The season will conclude with Andrew Lloyd Webber’s musical Tell Me On a Sunday, April 28-May 23, featuring lyrics by Don Black and Richard Maltby, Jr. Christopher Zinovitch will direct, and the production will star Jessica Skerritt.
