Casting Announced for Stephanie Timm’s On the Nature of Dust

Casting has been announced for the New Century Theatre Company production of Stephanie Timm’s On the Nature of Dust, to run May 5-30 in the Falls Theatre at ACT Theatre. Kathleen Collins will direct the piece, which is being presented in association with ACT Theatre’s Central Heating Lab.

The dark comedy focuses on a mother and her teenage daughter, whose terrific relationship has devolved into a struggle of epic proportions. The company will feature Amy Thone (Shirley Bliss), Brenda Joyner (Clara Bliss), Michael Patten (Kenneth Sample), Betsy Schwartz (Vivian Thurston-Baer), and Ben Harris (Bernie Wells).

The creative team will include Etta Lilienthal (scenic design), Robert Aguilar (lighting design), Rob Witmer (sound design), and Melanie Burgess (costume design).
