About This Venue
 Theatre Rhinoceros is a non-profit organization devoted solely to the development and production of theatrical work by lesbian and gay artists and/or addressing lesbian and gay issues. The theatre was founded by Allan Estes in 1977 and takes its name from the horned animal which is mild and peace-loving unless provoked.Throughout its history, Theatre Rhinoceros has played the important role of communicating the ideas, feelings, dreams, rituals and talent of gay and lesbian people.
