WHAT IS IT ABOUT?
The story of The Spitfire Grill is set in Gilead, a forgotten town in rural Wisconsin. Hope, it seems, has abandoned Gilead's few remaining citizens. But all of that soon changes when Percy--a spirited young stranger fresh out of prison--comes to town and lands a job at the struggling town's only café.
