Synopsis
The Santaland Diaries is a one-man play based on an essay of the same name by well-known author David Sedaris. It is a humorous account of Sedaris' stint working as an elf in "SantaLand" at Macy's department store.
In 1996, Joe Mantello adapted Sedaris' essay for the stage as a one-man, one-act play, which debuted at the Atlantic Theater Company in New York on November 7, 1996.
