WHAT IS IT ABOUT?

The new national tour of Jonathan Larson's musical, Rent, headlined by original stars Adam Pascal and Anthony Rapp, comes to San Francisco's Curran Theatre in October.

The tour also feature original cast member Gwen Stewart as the "Seasons of Love" soloist, along with Nicolette Hart (Maureen Johnson), Justin Johnston (Angel Schunard), Lexi Lawson (Mimi Marquez), Michael McElroy (Tom Collins), Jacques C. Smith (Benjamin Coffin III), and Haneefah Wood (Joanne Jefferson). The ensemble will include Karmine Alers, Toby Blackwell, Adam Halpin, Trisha Jeffrey, Joshua Kobak, Telly Leung, Jed Resnick, Andy Señor, Caren Tackett, Yuka Takara, and John Watson.

RENT: The Broadway Tour is directed by Michael Greif, who received 1996 Tony and Drama Desk nominations as well as the Obie Award for Rent. Marlies Yearby, who received a Tony Award nomination for her work on the musical, choreographs the show and Tim Weil, the show's original music supervisor and conductor, serves as music supervisor.

Seats in the first 2 rows of center Orchestra and the 1st row of side Orchestra will available for $20 for all performances of RENT: The Broadway Tour, the Pulitzer Prize and Tony Award-winning musical playing in San Francisco at the Curran Theatre. These tickets may be purchased on the day of show only and are available 2 hours prior to performance at the Curran Theatre Box Office. These tickets are available to anyone, with a limit of two tickets per person. Cash only, these tickets will be sold on a first come, first serve basis. Valid ID must be presented at the time of purchase.
