Synopsis
Producers Associates, Inc. opens their 37th Season of the Woodminster Summer Musicals with Kiss Me Kate, a Cole Porter musical loosely based on Shakespeare's The Taming of the Shrew. Originally produced in 1948, this show won five Tony awards and ran for three years on Broadway. The plot follows the antics of a troupe of Shakespearean actors, and the plot of Taming of the Shrew is interwoven with the backstage lives of the actors.
